August 25th, 2010! 508 cfs at Calder. 85 cfs at Red Ives. Talking to a few anglers that seem to think some of the bigger fish are moving down river already? Anyway, reports of 14-16 inch fish below Red Ives are increasing daily. Hoppers mid-day, tricos early, pmds, caddis and rusty spinners late. Ants and beetles are a good bet. Olive and tan streamers fished with patients will increase the average size. Hot today and tomorrow with cooler weather in the forecast beyond that. Better beat the Labor Day crowd! |
