The Nugget RV Resort
The Nugget is a Good Sam endorsed RV resort located on a wooded hill above St. Regis. They have full hookups and drive-thru spots for those big RVs. The resort has a pool, convenience store, and a handful of dry cabins. The facility is well liked by many of our RV customers, but book early as they fill up in the summer.
Peninsula Campground
Fee-free camping here in Montana right on the bank of the Clark Fork River. Our guides like to stop in the pool across from here in the afternoon looking for rising fish. The campground has some fire rings and bathrooms but this location is not for those big class A rigs. While there are numerous camping spots, they are tucked into the trees. The Peninsula Campground is located at Mile Marker 14 along Highway 135.
Muchwater Campground
Just 2 miles down river from Peninsula Campground is Muchwater Campground. A little tougher to find with just a small tent sign on the highway, this fee-free campground has bathrooms and is river fronting as well. Some pretty good shore fishing can be found above and below the campground.
