The St. Regis river is fishing well lower down as the Brown’s are starting to show up. Fishing higher should still see results for Rainbows and Cutts on smaller attractors such as Royal Wulffs or red Madam X.

Good news, Hoot Owl is off! With the smoke haze and lower temps the river is cooling quickly. The fish are not waking up early so plan on a lazy 9 am start. Still a lot of action on top with hoppers and smaller attractors. Warning! Watch for rocks in the river with the water levels lower than we have seen in many years many rocks exposed.
